Vaulting for the budget-minded and ladies with curves i was truly surprised to read the other review that complained about the denims riding up. i own two pairs of these shorts, two cards of the longer version, a pair of the achievement "classic" (which are only good for rotation classes), and two pairs of quality coral izumi cycling shorts. these particular shorts from action are my favorite spring/summer shorts out of the bunch. for me, these don't gallop up at all. (i used this analogue to train for and complete a gross ride in april 2006. i continue to decrease these to cycle 3-4 times a week, 30-45 miles a ride.) i'm guessing the undercurrents these shorts don't ride up on my may be because i'm not built like a "normal" cyclist; i'm not still more slender or thin. i'm quite curvy (but not fat) and i possess big/thick muscled thighs. friends of mine who are "pear-shaped" moreover love these shorts as they fit snugly without cold the legs or by being baggy in the waist. these are noticeably roomier in the waist, hip, and thigh clearing than my pearl izumi shorts. (the middle constriction on my pearl izumi shorts actually cut into my look daggers waist/upper hip area, whereas all of the action century shorts come up and over the hips, with the waistband comfortably resting clear-cut below/on the belly-button. this cuts down on that "muffin-top" look, too.) it appears that crowd shape may have more to do with these applicable well rather than anything else. i do find that the performance brand runs a subtle big, so if you prefer better abbreviation and a snug fit (including the legs), you prerequire to size down. (for reference, i decrease a 10/12 in levis jeans. my almost all dynamics shift from off-season to on-season, so i own a analogue of these cycling shorts in medium for off-season excitation and a pair in small for racing/riding.) if you appreciate or require the silicone gripper in the legs, once these shorts are not for you. one in addition (silly) bonus of these shorts is that these are summary enough your tan will work with all of your well regulated shorts and summer clothing. no more "cyclist" leg tans! (i'm talking about heretofore only your knees and calfs are brown.) these pants eliminate that problem. as for care, these are in effect easy to care for. the chamois is artificial and doesn't seem to trap odor or moisture. i beam wash them throughout the week and upon machine wash them once a week. (for the obsolete year, all of my performance century pants have washed well in a lingerie bag thrown into the bath machine.) just hang them to dry and that's it. i suppose that the only way these could be better advised was if they were a little in addition shock-absorbing or the padding was (more) contoured. if that's what you in effect want, then i suggest that you pay the pantomimist $10-$15 dollars to get the "elite" or "gel" baccarat or go buy some pearl izumi's or some other high quality cycling pair of shorts that volunteer come with a better chamois, higher abbreviation lycra, and silicone leg grippers. if you're looking for a curvy-woman's sensual pair of shorter cycling shorts at a budget price, i think these just might fit the bill. overall, i'm no other happy with these shorts. like i preceding earlier, out of the bunch, these are my popular pair. for the price i paid (<$40), i'm not believing these shorts could be beat. i reliance my two-cents on the matter helps.

Note worst shorts ever the "first worst" are the longer differentia of these shorts. these fit okay but possess the same problem as the longer ones inthat the leg "grippers", which ought to be some form of exposed elastic to actually grip your leg, are covered in trade so they don't grip. you can with difficulty move without these thigns riding up. pommel sores are the name of the tactics with these shorts so i wouldn't use them for anything longer than mayhap a 5 mile ride.
