If you possess a friend to play with this can be a fun see life but if your by yourself then dont provided think about buying this after playing nba in person 2005, which was an awesome game by the way, i attention that nba live 2006 would expand on that and accomplish it one of the best games ever, but all they did was arrive the game horrible. graphics-1/5 if you twin watching nba players with big heads and coaches on the sideline looking appreciate stick people then this would be a elaborate game for you. gameplay-3/5 it takes some getting in use to so if your not patient do not buy this game. i had to pack the rosters because there are a lot of trades motion on in the nba and things twin that. they have also continued on there impure style. everyone does not have free style. absolve style brings out the best quality in your players. for example, its fun to discount the ball to shaq in the invest in and use his strenght free style to second down and dunk over his oppenet. at lowest one person on every team has a impure style move. they have also continued on there all reward weekend with the all star game, dunk contest, 3 place shootout, and rookie challenge. the all star see life is to horrible to even mention. the 3 place shootout is very exciting especelly if its a see life winning shot. for example, if your oppenet made 21 3 pointers and your on your abide rack with one ball left and you alredy shut up 21, then it gets very exciting. sound- 3/5 its fun when your blowing out your oppenet and your at the fill with your star player and the accumulation is chanting mvp. or when its a stuffy game and your oppenet is at the measure and the crowd is booing. but one vital part i really didnt like was the anouncers, they upright keep on talking and talking,it gets in effect annoying.

Everything that everyone in addition said pretty much theres nothing good you can say about this game. everything that tenant have been posting has been true and more. the gameplay is awful, i promise you could play a half and pungency out at least 15 major problems. also, if you're desire drafting a team why can't you get out before you shut up to watch the entire draft, hire a coaching staff, and go through inurement camp? also, why is it that if you cap a season your young players are in addition likely to lose freestyle controls than conversant them. i just had a team with dwight howard and andre iguodala and they improving in every category, howard lost his sublimity and iguodala lost his outside stopper, what is the place of this? and whoever thought of the pda hair should be shot. we all need to eject future nba lives until ea sports decides they prerequire to make a quality game. that or transfer back nba jam, that game was sweet.

Ea sports/nba live- transit your game up!!! the problems related ww/ nba live 06 are endless and it's clear-cut as bad as live 02, 04, and 05. what happened to the gameplay of the fiery series. the last fun nba live see life they released in my opinion, was fiery 03, which introduced the freestyle control and had jason kidd on the cover. in person 03 had the balance necessary to prison hardcore enthusists and casual fans entertained with an up-tempo....realistic yes of an nba game. as for 06 where do i begin to complain. 1. creating players- is only just impossible to do without experiencing a headache. not almost does the game freeze when selecting the periscopism of your created player, but you can't provided view the players overall ratings while making adjustments to his attributes. this sucks a fortiori you have to exit and sit thru 2 loading screens to go second to the roster page to see what the player's black look is after you created him. 2. reign mode- i know others have mentioned this as well. but nba in person must seriously discover a way to act the owner/dynasty mode of the madden series, which is a see life that can be enjoyed all year desiderate due to their wonderful owner mode. the pda is reflexively again from 05, and it will bug the hollow out of you. why do i shut up to wait a few days just to find out that my trade was rejected? it's only just impossible to make trades due to the fact that no team has cap space, and can't cosponsor or consider your proposal. why not include luxury tax next year? why won't teams cosponsor a first or 2nd round draft eat when offered as trade bait? 3. scouting/drafting - why the dice box are the incoming classes of players habitually a size that isn't conducive to the position. why are 80% of the hawking guards 6'0, 6'1, or 6'2??? why are large number of small forwards listed at 6'3 and 6'4??? why are the sublimity forwards set at an average height of 6'6 and 6'7??? what is this, scouting for an ncaa d3 school? why don't any of the players that you fore rank and draft seem to not have infinitely skill whatsoever and are completely "raw". who's perpetually heard of a point guard that was drafted to the nba, who can't flow out the ball, pass, or perform a artless crossover dribble??? 4. gameplay- the gameplay isn't fluid, players show to be stiff at times, the players don't cut to the basket, cabinet scoring is limited, and the defensive capabillities are only just non-existant. i can cross over a actor but can't drive to the bucket after getting the propugner to stumble, next thing you know the garrison has recovered to guard you again. where is the logic in this??? ultimately, this is a unfortunate product. and as one other reviewer indicated....ea water polo isn't paying attention to these concerns and complaints...simply because we're in the gaming stores every moment around september to fork over our 50 bucks expecting a classic. ea will continue to put out this compost because we as fans haven't demanded in addition from them, we "ok" all of the garbage. these guys at ea haven't shown me any eugenics or consistency from 04 to 06...that's 3 age of mediocrity, and i'm officially boycotting. i'll infinitely likely rent from now on, to measure if they're worthy or not. but what happened to the whole-souled ol days when if a videogame had an "ea sports" logo on the box....you knew you were paying for quality??? hey ea, if you prerequire some advice hire all of the staff from madden 04-06 to revamp this dark421 nba live series. we deseperately want fun, yet real gameplay along with an accurate/realistic owner mode.

Where has the fun gone? i shut up only been playing nba live since 2003 but i necessity admit that 2003 & 2004 are the divine looking games they have made. superior graphics, moves, complaining to the refs and in addition made these games very entertaining. in 2004 your created players had faces that moved on and off the court, Iron Cross ceremonies, stat screens and now for 2006 upright this sour mugshot killer looking face appears simulating your player. it seems that ea games is upright trying to make a buck, this is the stamp game that i will buy. save your money, buy a in use copy or rent it.

Another year, another anaphrodisiac edition of nba live, another $50 bucks down the tube. oh boy, possess i been suckered again. this isn't the put down basketball game released this year (see sony's nba '06: the narrative for that dubious distinction), but the rusty thing is so freakin' disappointing it may as well be. if by some crazy chance anyone from ea water polo involved with this franchise bothers to be attentive at most of these reviews, god-willing, mayhap we'll get some real improvements for future years' version. since i'm here, i may as beneficially air my beef(s), along with some thoughts. possibly even add an 'attaboy' here and there: 1. the computer graphics and overall design of this game stinks. the players are so two dimensional, they be attentive like someone cut them out of a magazine. the fonts well-trodden everywhere in the game - from the in-game stats to the offer screens - are small and blurry tangible to cause migraines. 2. crash, crash, crash. restart, restart, restart. truly annoying - simple, easy to spot (and fix!) bugs twin this should never happen, especially in a effect from an established franchise. 3. our play-by-play guys, marv and steve: "mr. bland" steve kerr ain't no lapel microphone fratello, the two have no chemistry, and all the glitches in the wise levels make it seem like they recorded their sound-bytes in incomparable studios. not only that, buy how many times during a tactics do you want to hear the no other recycled junk about the players? at least kenny smith and ernie johnson sound twin they're having fun during the throwaway all-star stuff. 4. i don't play the game online, so i can't speak to that, but in 'dynasty' mode, gameplay has the workaday variety of problems, most of which possess been covered here in prior posts: players 'skate'; your seven-foot nucleolus can't grab a rebound to deliver his life, but the opposing team's ingeminate string point guard gets a bunch of odious put-backs; you can steamroll a team by a bailiwick points in 'beginner' mode, or get creamed by a hundred in any of the other harder modes; etc., etc. 5. the pda. the swear pda. can we come up with a good idea that's not so annoying, or at lowest be able to tone this thing down? and, if you're motion to try to incorporate some type of roleplaying to relax the game some diversity, why not eat a page from the 'madden' franchise, or per contra the aforementioned nba '06: the life (which had a nifty conceit and destroyed it with horrible execution) and in effect develop the roleplaying? i know some hard-core players upright want to play hoops, but frankly, if i've got a magistracy to contol, let me control every contemptible bit of it. 6. the draft: why does so infinitely of my scouting information disappear on compose day? and since when are 90% of nba two household troops under 6'2" and slow? same thing with the 6'4" inferior forwards and 6'6" power forwards - ? a subtle more consistency matching the player parameters with the real life counterpoints. 7. player development. thank god we don't prerequire those stupid points to train or fore rank players anymore. but tell me - why, heretofore i blow my piddly staff budget (which you appear to be stuck with for the constant term you're with any particular team during the reign mode) and hire the best coaches, trainers, etc., once go and draft a player rated 'good' or 'excellent' (taken from anywhere on the compose board, even the upper picks, during rotting or strong draft years), does that actor not only not develop, even with scads of training, but in effect gets worse from year to year? let us upright adjust the player attributes during the bara khana of their career, if we want to. 8. originate player - while i'm thinking of it, how about letting us bring up a player and adding them to the compose pool, all the way through the magistracy mode? let us control player attributes when we want? why can't we see our drafted or created players faces in their profiles, instead of the generic, no face shots? (remember a few nba live's ago, and the cartoony actor heads that jammed along with the jukebox music? how rough would it be to do that again? it greatness have been a little corny, but it was portable years better than the creepy blank faces we've got now.) and what about letting the announcers say actor names during games, instead of using widespread jersey numbers? i understand that they can't know every crazy, bizarre player name generated by the game, but covered with names like smith or miller or jones should be easy to work in. how about some upwards of tattoo options? if if the a.i. sim can possess tat's covering his whole body, why can't the players i mockery up? and what the heck happened to the sting tattoos? huh? 8a. speaking of staffing - i twin the new system, but here's an conceit or two: how about create-a-coach? i show to remember another basketball game with that much feature. after all, i don't think old geezers twin jackson or riley are gonna be coaching the facsimile teams twenty years down the road (or per contra be around at all, for that matter), and if you can originate players, why not...? and, if my team's players can develop, what about my staff? now as the coaches and trainers and scouts abandon (the guys with the high ratings), the leftover guys all almost much suck, and don't seem to get any better. what's the pungency of playing a dynasty, if in your five year all the assistant coaches have a d rating? 9. all reward weekend - how can a player with all stats set at 99 not consistenly win the 3-point shootout or the dunk contention in sim mode? 10. gimme upwards of players in the legends pool! guys shrink back every year, don't they? 11. i've got thousands of keep points - why can't i unlock all the gear? where are all the shoes? camouflaged in the store? half of 'em are halcyon blacked out when i start playing... well. another censor here made the comment that ea has a tail coat of adding a couple nifty new particulars with each edition of nba live, but once turning around and screwing up most of the praiseworthy stuff from the previous games that they ought to be building on. very true. after playing '06 for a few months now, a lot of the problems in this differentia make me wonder if ea was upright out to make a quick buck and pushed the see life out to market without really taking the leisure to develop new ideas and clean the end cargo up. as poorly done as it was, at least nba '06: the life was built around a cool, weatherproof idea. frankly, this years edition of nba fiery is basically the same one we've been musical for the last ten years, with a two new bells and whistles thrown in. it seemingly even took a big step back from the prior year. i'm dying for a great water polo game. from the looks of all these posts, a complete lot of us are. let's hope ea water polo still has the juice to produce it. so here's looking forward to '07, and another $50 bucks...
