Graceful to buy while much of the hang fire commentary concerned levi strauss's move away from urban manufacturing has focused on the button-fly 501s, the bigger moot point i have seen is with the old 1970's standby, the 505, which has a zipper as contrary to button fly. the variability on sizing and sew par value with the 505s is an issue if you are motion to buy them online or mail order. you in effect have to try them on to see how they fit. the 501 are muckle easier to buy online or by post order because the sizing is much inferior critical on the waist, which is the so-called "anti-fit" waist, pithy there is no curve to the look sharp (the distance between the crotch and the top of the waist), a fortiori the original 501s were merely cut down bib pants which were made to hang, rather than be finished to the waist. the biggest problem i possess noted on the 505's is the variability in importance in the thigh area, meaning that some fit nonadhesive and some seem rather tight, even per contra they are theoretically the same size of a label. the 501s are almost safe as far as sizing.

Simple got one out of three items i ordered i ordered 3 cards of pre-shrunk instant old 501's. i secondhand one pair of what i ordered and one analogue of unshrunk 501's with no tags and i don't embrace yet where the other pair is. won't order from them again.

The severe and still the best! levi's 501 pants are still the best in the population after all these years. the button fly is at times a bit inconvenient, but the fit of these pants is worth it - there has sine die been a pair of jeans that fit a guy good than these. they are comfortable, yet not baggy, and are downright classic, without being stodgy. in short, levi's 501 pants still set the bar for blue jeans, and to moment nothing else comes close.

Best value for your money are there any unequal jeans than these traditional levi's 501? if you truly want quality your choice would most in effect be a pair of 501 button flies. don't injure your money on any other brand simple for just checking out'em. you'll soon cling to that nothing can beat the comfort and complacency of 501.

Nothing says "i'm not a nerd" in addition than a pair of these levi button-downs are the infinitely comfortable, cool jeans in the known universe; james dean wore 'em for cryin' out loud! clear-cut don't blame the jeans for his unfortunate driving record; no doubt he was somniferous a pair of baggy khakis on his day of destiny, but i digress. i've worn levi's for all of my adult record and i've been pretty darn cool for a praiseworthy percentage of said adult life. so button-down and fly right, kimosabe. peace, kaz
